A delegation from the Vietnam Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Mr. Phạm Dũng, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the GCRA, paid a working visit to Cambodia from August 21 to 26.
While in Cambodia, the GCRA delegation had a working session with Cambodia Ministry of Cult and Religious Affairs, and paid a courtesy visit to the Great Supreme Patriarch of Cambodia Tep Vong and the Supreme Patriarch of the Thammayut order of Cambodia Bour Kry. The delegation also met with Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Internal Affairs Samdech Krolahom Sor Kheng and leaders of Svay Rieng province, and visited Vietnam Embassy in Phnom Penh.
The official visit strengthened exchanges on information and experience in religious affairs, contributing to enhance friendship and solidarity between the two countries and peoples.
