Protestant community in Hanoi registers for donation of blood, organs, bodies

The Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the National Co-ordination Centre for Human Organ Transplantation organized a program for blood donation and organ donation registration on October 17.  

The event taking place in Hanoi with the title “Continued Life” saw the participation of Pastor President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) Nguyễn Hữu Mạc, Deputy Director of the National Co-ordination Centre for Human Organ Transplantation Nguyễn Hoàng Phúc, Director of the Protestant Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Thiều Thị Hương and a large number of Protestants in Hanoi city.

During the event, 79 blood units were collected and 79 Protestants and their relatives voluntarily registered to donate their tissues, organs and bodies after death.
