On August 15th, 2014, the Buddhist Parents Day ceremony was held in Nhan Hoa pagoda (Warszawa, Ba Lan). A propagating delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) led by Venerable Thich Trí Đắc. Attending the ceremony were Buddhists and representatives from the Embassy, the Poland’s Vietnamese organizations and Polish friends. The Buddhist Parents Day ceremony was organized in a solemn, warm atmosphere and full of Buddhist rituals.

On August 16th, 2014, the Buddhist Parents Day festival ceremony held in Russia
On August 16th, 2014, the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Russia held a Buddhist Parents Day ceremony. This is a significant activity of overseas Vietnamese with the aim to express their respect and filial piety to the parents.
This year, the Buddhist Parents Day ceremony was held in a solemn and meaningful atmosphere; the Buddhist Parents Day festival 2014 (B.E 2258) attracted a large number of people not only from the capital Moscow but also from many provinces and cities throughout Russia.
Especially, the ceremony had the attendance of Venerable Thích Minh Hiền, Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs Department under VBS and Venerable Thích Minh Hợp, Venerable Thích Thanh Ân, Venerable Thích Đạo Dung and Nun Thích Lâm Viên coming from Vietnam. The Buddhist Parents Day ceremony 2014 was concluded with songs and dances to express love for parents and country.
