Vietnam Cultural Day held in Moscow Buddhist Center

A program for Vietnam Cultural Day has been held in the Buddha Recitation Center in Moscow.

This event was initiated by Television Producer and Professor at the Russia’s National Cinematography University Victoria Kulikova, and supported by the Office of Moscow’s Mayor and the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Russia.

In the three-day program, Vietnamese peoples’ cultures, customs, natural landscapes have been introduced to visitors. Those attending the event had the opportunities to try favorite dishes of Vietnamese food, such as nem cuon (spring rolls) and banh chung (sticky rice cake), and listen to the Vietnamese famous monochord, etc…

In addition, a play by actors and actresses of the Studio 5 on Vietnamese literature during the time of Great Viet has been also shown, contributing to animatedly reflect famous cultural works of Vietnamese people.

According to Mrs. Victoria Kulikova, the Vietnam Cultural Day held in the Buddhist Center in Moscow aimed to promote understanding of Vietnam and Vietnamese culture amongst Russians./.
