Phat Tich Ashrama at Matxcova built a Buddhist worshipping place

On April 19th in Hanoi – Matxcova Incentra culture and trade Centre, Phat Tich ashrama in Matxcova held a ceremony to announce the building of Matxcova Buddhist worshipping place.

The Buddhist worshipping place - the entire area of the top floor in the 22nd stories building with an area of 1000 m2 was allotted by Incentra investment limited company.

The announcing ceremony saw the attendance of Venerable Thich Duc Thien, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, founder of the Phat Tich ashrama in Matxcova representing the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Mr Nguyen Hung Anh, Head of community work, Vietnam Embassy in Russia; Mr Huu Thuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association in Russia and representatives of Buddhist organizations and Buddhists in Matxcova and Russia. The Construction Board and Executive Committee expected the worshipping place will be inaugurated this year on the Vu Lan festival.

Phat Tich ashrama in Moscow is a member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha under the Decision no. 688 dated 13/05/2010 and QD/ HDTS/ VP1 and Venerable  Thich Duc Thien, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha as adviser. Over the years, Phat Tich ashrama has conducted the Buddhist activites under the guidelines of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the ashrama community has united and leaned towards to the homeland and well observed the local law. The  ashrama’s Buddhist activities has met spiritual needs of the majority of the community, and contributed to promote and preserve Vietnam’s traditional and cultural identities.
