The Cao Dai White Cloth is established by Mr. To Buu Tai, Mr. Truong Minh Tong in Mong Tho Oratory, Rach Gia. The Cao Dai White Cloth operated on March 7th 1936 with the presence of many Catholics, the Cao Dai dignitaries such as The Ante-Creation (Cao đài Tiên Thiên) Church, the Cao đài Correct Path (Ban Chỉnh đạo) Church, the Bright-Verity Way (Cao đài Minh Chơn Đạo) Church, Mong Tho Oratory became Central Church of the Cao Dai White Cloth church since then.

The Cao Dai White Cloth church build and operate the principle of "Three religions returned to their origins – Five Branches are reunited" and transmitted to ,  the New Testament traced the object of mercy suffering beings, bringing love to build a life of peace, peaceful, happy world. Doctrine, rules, rituals of the Cao Dai White Cloth is essentially the same as the other Cao Dai sects, however, the Cao Dai White Cloth tends to progress as soon eliminate "evocation of a Supreme Spirit", the official stationeries are decided by the believers, while the unity of religions and religious practices influenced by the Buddhist Eightfold Path. The clothes of dignitaries and believers should white so that it called the Cao White Cloth

 In the 2 wars against France and American, in parallel with the development of religions many dignitaries and Cao Dai White Cloth believers actively involved in the revolutionary organizations such as Cao Dai national rescue of Rach Gia provincce, Viet Minh Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the National Liberation Front, ..., participate in legal and illegal with the enemy, protected more revolutionary bases and participate in play protection of monks not so much captured soldiers, enemy soldiers mobilize public support the struggle of the people, return to the revolution. Many dignitaries have meritorious contributions to revolutionary as Mr. Buu Tai Su, Nguyen Huu Truong Tan Si, Buu Hue, Nguyen Van Thang. Many oratories are hidden revolutionary cadres, including Ngoc Kinh Holy See during the anti-American raised and protected the four officers of the Southwest Front for revolutionary activities until to liberated.

In the early days of the war against the French, Cardinal To Buu Tai told his followers that: "Our country has only one king, Uncle Ho is his intelligence. There is a king and there are soliders, not worship 2 gods. I only worship Uncle Ho not a change of heart, if followers want a change of heart that it is already waiting for me to die, as long as anyone wants to go other ways, and I only worship one God as Uncle Ho ". This is also the teaching of the Cao Dai White Cloth dignitaries guiding his devotees to follow the path of the revolution, go into our nation with truth "Faith - Faithfulness - Charity – Dhrama

 After our country completely united, North and South under the same roof, the border South-west war happened again, the Cao Dai White Cloth Church has made 8000 the curtain of rain, several tons of dried fish, thousands Tét cake to support the soldiers protecting the border of the country.

 Merits and achievements have been awarded 02 Liberation Medal by the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam and awarded 05  the Vietnamese heroic mothers, 61 decorations , war medals, 46 martyrs, 10 wounded, 7 old prisoners of war and 37 martyrs families by the Republic of Vietnam socialist

Implementing new the policy of the Party and State for Cao Dai religion on March 13rd 1998, the Cao Dai White Cloth Church has held the first Congress of the Popular Council, tenure (1998-2002) through the Charter, the dignitaries law, religious practices program and elected 36 dignitaries in the leader of Sacerdotal Council (Hội thánh). At the same time the People's Committee of Kien Giang province recognized the legal person status in Decision No. 2363/1998/QD-UB, on July 8th 1998 of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province.

On June 15th 2002, the Cao Dai White Cloth Church held the second Congress of the Popular Council Congress, tenure (2002-2007), through the Charter, action orientations, and elected Standing Committee of the Sacerdotal Council including 19 persons by the Cardinal Nguyen Duc Thang as its head

On April 4th 2007, the Cao Dai White Cloth Church held a successful the third Congress of the Popular Council Congress, tenure (2007-2012). Congress adopted the agenda summary 5 years and the action orientation in the 5 years (2007-2012), reform and supplement the Charter, elected Standing Committee of the Sacerdotal Council session III including 12 persons by Mr.Pham Tan Be - Manager of the Heavenly-Union Palace (Hiệp Thiên đài) as its head

Until now, the Cao Dai White Cloth church has undergone 15 years of operation under the Charter and new action orientation and preparing into the fourth term (2012-2017). Now there have 14 parishes, with 12 Holy Houses, 2 Oratories, 4396 followers and 111 dignitaries, 186 employees, mainly in Kien Giang province.

As a religion arising in our nation that believers’ thoughts as well as works always go through the Party's guidelines and policies, State’s legislation and local regulations. Since the Ordinance on Belief and religious issued accordance with the Sacerdotal Council, to meet the needs and legitimate aspirations of the devotees, so dignitaries and believers increasingly rely on the Party's policies and laws of the State committees, local governments; assured practice religion, encourged productive labor. The religious activities are held according to legal regulations of State and local.

 Although the Cao Dai White Cloth church is small, the number of believers have a few, economic life remains difficult, but dignitaries of the Cao Dai White Cloth Church always encourage each other to fulfill civic duty, to actively participate in the charity social. The Charity social activities has always been considered an important problem by The Sacerdotal Council to express spirit of friendly, good deeds of believers, and determine "the relief, sure you are a criteria in the work of religion " every Holy House, every believer will see this is an obligation on the path.

 On behalf of the Sacerdotal Council, Mr. Tran Van Huynh said that followers of Cao Dai White Cloth Church are mostly farmers, living by farming more than anyone who should understand the suffering of farmers as well as the poor. Therefore, the spirit of  “the intact leaf shields the torn one” in 5 years, the Sacerdotal Council as well as 14 parishes of the Cao Dai White Cloth Church are actively involved in charitable social activities such as opened 4 charitable Vietnamese herbs clinics, free medicine 374.409 prescriptions; exam and acupunctured for 97.734 the poors in and out of provincial and aided 75.600kg of rice to poor households, donated gifts for the elderly ; together with local people to build houses, participating rural roads, bridges for people to travel, school was easy. The total amount of charitable, social 5 years (2007-2012) is 8,549,834,000 dong.

 With effort and determination, the Cao Dai Bach y Church was awarded by the People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province in the patriotic emulation movement. Especially, they also excited when Mr. Tran Van Huynh - Chief of the Sacerdotal Council Management has been trusted by the people and elected to the National Assembly XIII, term 2011-2016

 Next term, all dignitaries, officials and followers of the Cao Dai Bach y Church continue to serve the tradition, patriotism, strengthen and build the church more and more stable, create a solidarity uniform throughout the Dharma, continue following motto "to revive the dharma and save human being, serve their homeland" for the purposes relieve human beings, bringing love, building peaceful life towards universality. /.
