On November 12, 2013, a delegation of dignitaries from Hung Hoa Diocese headed by bishop Vũ Tất visited the Government Committee for Religious Affairs. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Nhường, head of the Committee Office, and officials from the Department of Catholic Affairs.
At the reception, bishop Vũ Tất thanked the leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs for their warm welcome, and especially their attention to creating favorable conditions for Hung Hoa Diocese to appoint its auxiliary bishop, and solve difficulties over the past time. He said he hopes that the relationship between the Committee and Hung Hoa Diocese will further develop in the future.
On behalf of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn affirmed that the Committee will do it utmost to assist Hung Hoa Diocese in particular and the Catholic community in general in the cause of national construction and defence.
