Deputy Director of the Catholic Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Đào Thị Đượm hosted from January 22-23 separate receptions for three visiting delegations from Catholic orders, ahead of Lunar New Year 2019.
The delegations were led by Sister Councilor of the Hanoi Holy Cross Lovers Congregation Mary Đỗ Thị Đĩnh, Assistant to the Superior General of the Thai Binh Dominican Sisters Congregation Mary Ngô Thị Hạnh and Sister in charge of the St. Paul de Chartres Congregation Mary Nguyễn Thị Lai.
During the receptions, Deputy Director General Đào Thị Đượm exchanged with the guests religious affairs of the Catholic orders over the past years and highly appreciated practical contributions of the religious orders to health, education and social charities in the country.
Speaking with the host, representatives of the Catholic orders thanked the GCRA for its attention and support to pastoral and apostolic affairs of the orders, as well as extended Lunar New Year greetings to officials and staffers of the GCRA.
