Attending the congress were leaders and members of the dignitary council, and about 200 delegates representing Balamon dignitaries and followers in the province.
Guests at the event included Deputy Director the Department of Other Various Religions’ under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ Trần Thị Minh Thu, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Committee Ông Lưu Nào, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Relious Affairs Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên, and representatives of Buddhist and Islamic organizations in the locality.

The two-day event approved the report of activities by the dignitary council of the Cham Balamon community in Ninh Thuan province in the first term (2012-2017) and outlined its working plans for 2017-2022 tenure, as well as elected 31 members to the dignitary council for the second term, with Religious Chief Hán Đô selected as the council President, and Religious Chiefs Đổng Bạ and Hán Dậu as Vice President of the council.

On the occasion, Ninh Thuan provincial authorities presented certificates of merit to the dignitary council and five individuals of the Cham Balamon community in the province for their social contributions in the locality in the past five years.
