Mieu Noi (Phu Chau Temple) in the ward 5, Go Vap district, considered as one of the most unique architectural work in Vietnam has been recognized by Ho Chi Minh People’s Committee as a municipal architectural heritage.
The complex Mieu Noi was built on a small island of 2.500 m2 in the middle of Vam Thuat river, at the place between district 12 and Go Vap district. It was call Mieu Noi (floating temple) due to its special terrain location. Tourists wishing to visit the Temple will have to travel by boat.
Curently, Go Vap district has 9 projects and places classified as relics, including 3 national –level relics (Ngoc Phuong Tinh Xa, Đinh Thong Tay Hoi, Sac Tu Truong Tho pagoda) and 6 city-level relics.
