The year-end event saw the presence of Bishop Dominic of Da Lat Diocese Nguyễn Văn Mạnh, Priest John Bosco Hoàng Văn Chính, Vicar General of Da Lat cum Head of the charity board, Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Da Lat province Ngô Văn Đức, and large numbers of local authorities’ representatives and Catholic dignitaries, clergymen, clergywomen and parishioners of the diocese.

As reported, each gift set presented to the poor at the event year-end party has the total value of one million VND.
In 2020, the parish’s social charity board spent over 1.5 billion VND on charitable programs benefiting disadvantaged people, including monthly sending rice to the poor on the 15th day of every month, offering supports to poor patients and free meals to the unemployed, and sending relief supplies to people severely affected by floods in Vietnam Central, etc.
On occasion of the lunar New Year 2021, many Catholic parishes and communities in Da Lat have organized charity programs for disadvantaged people in the province. In particular, St Vincent Missionary Society has distributed Tet gifts to ethnic minorities in parishes of Da Tong deanery in Dam Rong district, and Da Lat Don Bosco congregation has presented Tet gifts to children of charity classes in the locality.
