Meeting held for launching waste collection program amongst Caodai community

Cam Giang Caodai Parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tay Ninh Province’s Go Dau District have practically responded to social movements launched in the locality.

The management board of the Caodai parish has successfully raised VND 700 million for improving the local road system, and currently provides a monthly support for three victims of Agent Orange with VND 300,000 each person.

For three years the Caodai management board has also operated a charity kitchen monthly providing from 100-150 free meals to disadvantaged people on the day of full moon.

The Cam Giang Caodai parish’s management board annually raises funds for presenting over 100 gift sets to the poor in the locality, as well as gifts to children on Children Day (June 1).

In response to the movement boosting rural and urban development, the management board of Cam Giang Caodai parish has launched practical programs for environment protection, climate change adaptation and maintenance of social security and public order in the locality.

Implementing the program for properly discharging wastes five Caodai groups of Cam Giang Parish has successfully encouraged members to have rubbish bins at their home.
