According to the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee, the construction work will be basically completed in the late 2020 and totally funded by supports of Vietnamese Buddhists in the country and overseas.
According to research documents, Am Duoc is located on the slopes of the Thanh Long mountain range (Blue Dragon) in the Yen Tu relic site, Uong Bi city. This shrine used to be a place for ancestor to research and manufacture herbal medicines for curing diseases of Zen master as well as the poor. Before returning to Yen Tu, King Trần Nhân Tông ordered the construction of the shrine. This shrine became the place where the King fulfilled his early dream to produce medicines from herbal plants for health treatment of the poor.
