Attractions reopened despite coronavirus spread
The Temple of Literature has been reopened since February 6

Historical and cultural relic sites and natural landscapes can be opened to tourists but operators must comply with coronavirus infection prevention and control measures, according to a public dispatch released by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on February 6.

In the dispatch, which was signed by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trịnh Thị Thủy, the ministry also asked coronavirus-hit cities and provinces to ensure that all festivals have been canceled to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Organizers of ongoing festivals in other localities must reduce the number of activities and the length of the festivals, and comply with the ministry’s preventive measures.

Many attractions nationwide have been closed since February 4 to spray antiviral chemicals. As of February 6, many historical and cultural relic sites and natural landscapes had been reopened to visitors, the Vietnam News Agency reports.
