Chairman of Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Hồ Hải Tần receives a delegation from An Khe parish

Chairman of Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Hồ Hải Tần received on January 17 a delegation from the management board of An Khe Catholic parish ahead of the traditional New Year (Tet) 2020.

At the visiting reception, An Khe parish extended traditional New Year wishes to officials and employees of the provincial religious committee and took the chance to share with the host results of religious affairs of the parish in 2019.

Speaking with the guests, Chairman Hồ Hải Tần expressed hope that the management board of the parish would encourage parishioners to proactively participate in social movements while extending a new year of peace and prosperity to priests and all members of the parish.

On the same day, delegations from Ia To parish led by Pries Trần Văn Long, Phu Bon parish led by Priest Nguyễn Đức Trường, Pleiku evangelical church led by Pastor Nguyễn Tường, Dak Doa district Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s (VBS) executive board led by Senior Venerable Thích Đồng Lý and Chu Prong district VBS’s executive board led by Senior Venerable Thích Phổ Nguyện also visited and extended Tet greetings to the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.

A delegation from Ha Tinh diocese led by Priest John Baptist Nguyễn Khắc Bá, Vicar General of Ha Tinh diocese visited and extended Tet wishes to authorities of Can Loc district on the same day.

The delegation was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee Bùi Huy Cường.
