Monks and nuns of Vietnam Buddhist Institute and seminarians of the St. Joseph Major Seminary in Hanoi

A delegation from the St. Joseph Major Seminary in Hanoi led by Priest Francis Xavier Bảo Lộc, Lecturer of Theology Faculty on November 23 visited and met with monks and nuns of  the Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Hanoi.

Senior Venerable Thích Minh Quang, Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council, Deputy Chief of the VBS’s Northern Office and monks and nuns of the Vietnam Buddhist Institute welcomed the delegation.

During the visiting, the Buddhist Institute, more than 40 seminarians of the Major Seminary and monks and nuns of the Buddhist Institute had exchanges on Buddhism.

Senior Venerable Thích Minh Quang also shared with the guests the life and career of Nun Diệu Nhân - the first Buddhist nun of Vietnam on occasion of her 906th death anniversary.
