A special art program with the theme “Proud of Nation and Vietnam mothers”  will be broadcasted at 8pm on August 10 on the VTC1 Channel.

The event themed “Proud of Nation and Vietnam mothers” aims to mark the 74th anniversary of August Revolution, National Day and the Buddhist Parents Day festival 2019 – B.E. 2563.

The event is being organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in collaboration with the Voice of Vietnam and Thudo Media Company.

The program through art performances will praise cultural values of the country tradition, such as “drinking water, remembering its source” and the familial piety, and its Buddhism with long history “safeguarding the country and bring peace to the people”. The event also aims to pay tribute to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs, war invalids and those rendered meritorious services to the country and promote these values in the current cause of national construction and defense
