Accordingly, the culture, sports and tourism ministry has approved a number of contents proposed by the provincial People's Committee including the restoration of the yard, the Vuong lake, the embankment mountain and pillars of the Thoai Thanh mausoleum; the renovation of the citadel, the main gate, the main worshipping hall and auxiliary works of the Thoai Thanh shrine; upgrades of courtyards, walls, citadel systems and tombs of the Hoang Co, Quang Hung, Vinh Mau, and Truong Phong mausoleums; overall embellishment of the green landscape, technical infrastructure and fences of the relic site.
In addition, the ministry also asked the provincial authorities to continue gathering documents and photos to serve the recovery of lost architectural components on gates, ramps, decorations on folding screens, etc. of the relic’s constructions, and clearly specify the type and size of bricks used for the restoration work.
Regarding the construction of Vuong lake, the ministry asked the provincial People's Committee to pay attention to preserving good embankment sections, only restoring the eroded and degraded embankments according to the existing embankment model at the relic site. For sections of walls and gates that are degraded, it is necessary to fully document these sections before dismantling.
