Religious committee in An Giang, Ninh Thuan extend Easter greetings to local Christians

Vice Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in the central province of Ninh Thuan Nguyễn Tường paid on March 31 visits to Catholic parishes and Evangelical chapters of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in the locality, ahead of Easter 2021.

During the visits, the religious committee official extended warm celebrations of Easter to local Catholics and Evangelicals, and highlighted many contributions made by Catholic parishes and Evangelical churches in the locality for sustainable development in Ninh Thuan.

He also had exchanges with the hosts on the national flag-raising at places of religious worship, the Covid-19 prevention work in organizing religious practices and services, and the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th Legislature of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026.

 Easter visit to Truong Tho Evangelical Church

In the southern province of An Giang, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Phú has also paid Easter visits to My Luong Evangelical Church, Cu Lao Giang Catholic Parish and the sisters of Providence in the province’s Cho Moi District.

During the visits, while extending warm greetings to local Christians on occasion of Easter 2021, the provincial religious committee officials spoke highly of practical contributions made by local Christians, and asked them to promote fine traditions for socio-economic development in the locality, including the current Covid-19 prevention work and the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th Legislature of the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026.
