Tet greetings extended to key religious in Thu Duc city
At the meeting

Thu Duc city’s District 9 authorities held on January 18 a meeting with dignitaries and deacons of religions in the city ahead of the lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.

The event saw the presence of leaders of the district Party Committee; Most Venerable Thích Huệ Cảnh, Head of the district Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s executive board; Priest John Baptist Phạm Văn Hợp, Head of Thu Thiem deanery; and Head of the district Catholic solidarity committee Trần Anh Tuấn.

 Speaking at the event, while extending Tet greetings to the participating religious dignitaries and deacons, as well as all religious people in the district, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in District 9 Cao Văn Minh informed results of socio-economic development in the district in 2020 and asked religious dignitaries and deacons to actively join hands with local authorities for boosting sustainable development in the district.
