Christmas visit to Thanh Phu Church

A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the People’s Council in the southern province of Ben Tre Huỳnh Quang Triệu paid on December 17 visits to Catholic places and representative dignitaries in Thanh Phu district ahead of the Christmas festival 2020.

The delegation visited Thanh Phu Catholic Community, and met with Priest Carlos Đặng Đăng Nguyên, Chairman of the Catholic solidarity board in Thanh Phu District cum Head of Khau Bang Parish.

At visiting receptions, while extending Christmas greetings to priests and lay Catholics in the locality, Vice Chairman Huỳnh Quang Triệu took the chance to inform results of socio-economic development in Ben Tre and thank Catholics in Thanh Phu district for their concerted efforts in maintaining social cohesion and close collaborations with local authorities for sustainable development in Thanh Phu district.
