Training on climate change for key religious in Ben Tre
At the training

Over 100 religious dignitaries and deacons in Ben Tre prorivnce have attended a training course on climate change and models for climate change adaption for held on June 17-18.

The event was organized by the Department of Climate Change under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the provincial religious committee.

The event covered contents of climate change including definition, causes and manifestations of climate change and climate change adaption; international climate change policies, views of religions on climate change, etc.

The training aimed to update information on the climate change and State policies, laws and programs related to climate change in Vietnam, as well as roles of religions in environmental protection and climate change adaptation.
