Tu Son urban district in Bac Ninh province currently has two operative religions of Buddhism and Catholicism with 47 Buddhist worshipping places and one Catholic parish.

From year 2003 up to now, local authorities in the urban district have officially promulgated 130 documents providing regulations for religious practices, construction of new worshipping places, and the state administration on new religious phenomena.

The local authorities have also provided assistance worth 500 VND million to religious dignitaries and followers in the locality, on occasions of Vesak Day, Christmas day and Lunar New Year, etc.
