Government religious committee delegation meets with Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Ben Tre

A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs led by Deputy Director of Caodai Affairs Department Đinh Quang Tiến on February 16 meet with the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Ben Tre province on occasion of Duc Chi Ton (Supreme Being) festival.

Joining the delegation included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân.

Welcoming the delegation at Chau Minh Holy See included Cardinal President of the Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Bảy Thanh and members of the Church’s Executive Committee.

During the reception, Archbishop Ngọc Phường Thanh, Vice President of the Church’s Executive Committee briefed religious afffairs of the Church during the 94th religious years and pointed out some difficulties in religious practices over the past years.

Speaking with the hosts, Deputy Director Đinh Quang Tiến spoke highly of achievements obtained by the Caodai Church over the past year. He also exchanged with the Church on several issues relating to the amendment of the Charter, the organization of grassroots-level general meetings and the establishment of the Caodai Institute in accordance with the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree 162.
