On August 25, at Ngoc Sac oratory (Ho Thi Ky commune, Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province) the Southwestern Steering Committee in coordination with the Central Women’s Union organized a conference for disseminating the policies of Party and State for women including religious and ethnic women in localities of Ca Mau province.
On August 27, the central Committee for Ethnic Affairs in coordination with Soc Trang provincial Committee for Ethnic Affairs organized a conference for capacity building, disseminating and inspecting the implementation of “National target Program for clean water and environmental hygiene in agricultural regions” in ethnic minorities areas for local officials working on ethnic affairs and religious dignitaries, pagoda management boards and prestigious people in ethnic communities in the province.
Implementing the working plan for 2014, on August 21, 2014, at the Office of the Tay Ninh province Red Cross, the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs under Tay Ninh province Department of Home Affairs in coordination with the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh provincial city held a religious training seminar for about 120 officials in the Tay Ninh provincial city.
On August 20, 2014, at the provincial Guesthouse (No 71, ha Huy Giap Str. Quyet Thang ward, Bien Hoa city) the provincial Defense-Security Education Council held a opening ceremony for the third Defense-Security knowledge training course 2014 for about 200 religious dignitaries and followers in the locality.
On August 15, the Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee organized a conference to praise 150 typical people in 20 years implementing the movement “All people protecting the national security in religious localities”.
On August 11th 2014, the Thanh Hoa province’s Steering Committee 138 held a conference to review 20 years implementing Directive No.11 of the Ministry of Public Security on "Promoting mass movements to protect the national security in the Catholic localities in the new situation”
The Southwest Steering Committee in collaboration with the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration and the Party Committee of Tra Vinh and Soc Trang province held a meeting with religious dignitaries and deacons in the provinces to inform about the implementation results of religious policies of the Party and State. More than 150 dignitaries, religious in religions and prestigious people in the ethnic Khmer community attended the meeting.
On August 7th, the Standing Board of Hai Phong city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to review 20 years implementing the movement “all people protecting national security in Catholic localities” (1994 - 2014)
On August 6th, 2014, a Ministry of Public Security delegation led by Major- General Tô Lâm, Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security visited and congratulated the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) on the Buddhist Parents Day Festival 2014 (B.E 2558).

From July 29th to August 1st, the Security and Defense Education Council of Can Tho city disseminated knowledge of security and defense for 120 monks at the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy
On the occasion of 67th anniversary of Invalid and Martyrs Day (July 27th,1947-July 27th, 2014), Nam Định’s Committee for Religious Affair organized a delegation to visit two religious dignitaries under a special-care policy for having rendered meritorious services to the country.
Ordainment, conferment, appointment, election and designation in a religion shall be an internal affair of the religious organization and conducted according to the charter and/or statutes of the religious organization. The law only sets forth criteria of civil capacity of those to be ordained.
