Lunar New Year’s royal ceremony reenacted in Hue citadel
Nguyen Dynasty’s mandarins kneel down at Thai Hoa Palace’s courtyard to extend Tet greetings to the King

The Hue Monuments Conservation Center re-enacted on February 2 the first New Year ceremony under the Nguyen Dynasty at the Hue Imperial Citadel in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue’s Hue City. 

The ceremony is held on the first day of the Lunar New Year at Thai Hoa Palace and Can Chanh Palace.
