New publication on life release from Buddhist perspective and social life

According to the Buddhist concept, life release is an action of saving the lives of beings that were captured.

People often organize fish and bird release on occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, the 15th of the first month and the 7th lunar month or during ceremonies praying for their family. Life release shows compassion and brings peace and happiness to beings.

The book titled “life release from the perspective of Buddhism and life” written by Author M.A. Nguyễn Đức Bá, has been released by the Religious Publisher.

The book has three parts: the origin of life release, including definition, origin and benefits of life release in Buddhist perspective; practices of life release and short stories about live release, its retribution and the retribution of killing.

M.A. Nguyễn Đức Bá currently works at the Center for Preservation of Religious Culture’s Heritage under the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and a lecturer at the Department of Cultural Heritage, Hanoi University of Culture.
