On the same day, the Bani Islamic Dignitaries Council in Ninh Thuân also issued a dispatch asking for temporary suspension or scaling down of large religious gatherings during Ramuwan Festival 2020.

Earlier, on March 30, the Spiritual Council of the Vietnam Baha'i Community released a notification announcing the canceling of local general conferences for electing the local spiritual councils and an extention of the serving time of the existing local spiritual councils to March 2021.

As pronounced, the national congress of Baha’i faith will be held online on May 1. Regarding the selection of the national spiritual council, delegates will send their votes by post office or other means of transport to the spiritual Council’s office in Ho Chi Minh city.
