GCRA receives Vietnamese-American Pastor Trần Đình Ái
Overview of the reception

Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Department of International Relation Nguyễn Đức Vinh on October 19  hosted a reception for Pastor Trần Đình Ái from the U.S.

Joining the pastor’s visit included several pastors from the Vietnam Assemblies of God and American veterans.

During the reception, Director Nguyễn Đức Vinh shared with the guests the current religious life in Vietnam and state policies and laws on religion. The director also informed the guests the new law on belief and religion adopted by the Vietnam’s National Assembly that will take effect in January 2018.

Pastor Trần Đình Ái, Former President of the Vietnam Assemblies of God Church, thanked the GCRA for updated information on religion in Vietnam and expressed hope that the GCRA’s would continue creating favorable conditions for religion in general, and Christianity in particular.
