The minister also spoke highly of the coordination and assistance the Vietnamese Government’s Committee for Religious Affairs has given to Cambodia’s Ministry of Cult and Religious Affairs.

They also agreed that the immediate task is encouraging localities along the border to implement signed agreements to together build a border of peace, cooperation for mutual development and benefits of the two countries’ people.

During his visit, the Vietnamese official and his entourage will pay a call visit to two religious leaders, the Great Supreme Patriarch of Cambodia Tep Vong and the Supreme Patriarch of the Thammayut order of Cambodia Bour Kry.
