The 8th General Assembly of the Asian Conference of Religions for Peace has been held from August 25-29 at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Republic of Korea with the theme "Unity and Harmony in Asia" and attendance of Buddhist delegations from member countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
