The pagoda was constructed in 1964 and has undergone many restorations and renovations with its architecture deeply featuring East Asian Buddhism.
The temple has a two-meter-high statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and huge wooden columns. To reach the main hall, visitors need to walk up 200 steps on the mountain slope and would have opportunity to receive lucky bracelets from monks of the pagoda.
Over the years, the pagoda has become a place for local people and visitors to pray for peace, happiness and pay tributes to heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the country.
