Knight of the Grand Cross Lê Đức Thịnh presents gifts to the poor in Thanh Hoa

Knight of the Grand Cross Lê Đức Thịnh presented gifts to the disadvantaged people in Thanh Hoa province’s Cam Thuy district at a charity program held on March 13.

The event taking place in Phong Y Catholic parish in Cam Thuy district saw the presence of Priest Head of Phong Y parish Joseph Phạm Văn Quế, Catholics and local people in the locality.

Distinguished guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Văn Phới, Head of the religious committee under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyễn Văn Thanh, Chairwoman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Phạm Thanh Thủy, and local authorities’ representatives.

The charity program presented gift packages, each containing necessities worth 500,000 VND and 500,000 VND in cash, to local people, as well as handed over 50 bicycles to excellent pupils in the locality. The gift packages have been sponsored by Director of Saigon South General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh city Đặng Văn Thanh (350 million VND) and Director of the Global Logistics Service Company Trần Thiện (200 million VND) and Director of Thuan Viet Land Dương Anh Tuấn.
